While it is great to see the superstars of design talk about the outrageous projects they do, it sucks to pay $50 to see them. On Design aims to have low-cost, even free, evenings where a designer will talk about the projects they do. We want the attendees to be inspired by the speakers, but to also relate to them. No matter if you are a student or a professional designer, we want to you come to these talks. We want the talks to be intimate and to generate dialog among the attendees. Our first On Design lecture was with designer Gabe Wong on October 13th, 2011. It was a packed house and a great learning experience for everyone. The second lecture happened on November 24, 2011 and featured illustrator Raymond Biesinger and his well-received presentation entitled Doom.
