We’re passionate about design, and we’re not going to deal with it sitting down. What better way to spread the word of design than with design! We put on one or more shows a year that give students centre stage, and give design appreciators a chance to see something new.

ft. Cygnets & The Souvs
The SDA lets loose and hangs ten. Avenue Skatepark was filled with custom longboards designed by students, then auctioned off to raise funds. Local bands Cygnets, and The Souvs brought the Ruckus.

Out of the Bag

Another design show gets let out of the bag. Collaborating with creative geniuses M.A.D.E for their aptly named Edmonton Design Exposed: How a Decade is M.A.D.E.

Noise Play

Venue: The Great West Saddlery Building

An opportunity for the community at large to meet emerging designers and see them push the boundaries of their imagination. There finished pieces represented interpretations of an idea, concept, or image found to be problematic or uncomfortable and try to construe it through the uninhibited exploration of play.
