welcome bbq mixer
Come hangout with us at the Welcome BBQ Mixer that is happening on Sep. 12, 2025, Friday from 5 PM- 8 PM in the Industrial Design Courtyard (West side of Student Union Building, the exit by the UAlberta Bookstore). Any Design or Art and Design students and instructors are welcome! Come eat, play, have fun and meet new design students!
There will be activities for everyone, food and drinks, and many more!
Local Design, Just in time for the holidays
Built is an annual pop-up shop organized and managed by the Student Design Association. This temporary store offers a platform for up-and-coming designers to showcase and sell their creations in a commercial environment. It’s an excellent opportunity for Edmonton residents to buy locally-made products while supporting emerging talent.
The selection of items available at Built are curated by a jury of design professionals and are held to professional standards. Students are encouraged to collaborate with local businesses in the production of their products.
