Arts Habitat Edmonton is seeking expressions of interest for our website redevelopment project that we aim to start in May 2026.
Project Outline
Objectives
Create a visually compelling and intuitive website experience utilizing the Arts Habitat Edmonton identity
Create a standard template on a reliable web platform so that it can be edited and managed in-house
Prioritize navigation and access to key information
Ensure full mobile responsiveness and accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher)
Strengthen content structure and storytelling
Enable easy internal content management (CMS) and workflows
Support integration with key platforms (e.g. events, newsletters, social media)
Support integration with Archie Space Management Software (e.g. hyperlinked pages)
Consultation and guidance regarding web security languages (PHP, SSL Certificate, etc…)
Scope
You will be expected to:
Migrate and/or refine provided planned content and wireframe to maximize user experience (UX)
Develop site architecture and wireframes
Design and build the planned 26 webpages for the website (front-end and back-end)
Ensure SEO best practices are implemented
Provide training and documentation for staff
Offer post-launch support and maintenance options
Implementation of tracking tools
Timeline
