Description:
We are seeking a design student to support our research project in developing tools and a website where these tools can be conveniently housed and made accessible to the general public. The content of the tools and website will be fully provided. We are hoping to draw on the expertise of a design student to help us develop the branding for our project, designing the tools so they look clear and professional, and building a website for these tools. The tools would be designed in Canva (a pro account will be provided) and the platform for the website is to be determined and open to suggestion.

Duration: ~One year (Fall 2025–Fall 2026)
research
Aims to develop a model of care (consisting of the developed tools) to improve mental health care for people with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) in Alberta
Community partners such as individuals with FASD, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and policymakers have embarked on this project
Gathered data from surveys, interviews, and focus groups on current available mental health services in Alberta
Co-created tools for individuals with FAS, caregivers, and service providers to be used throughout the therapeutic treatment journey

Tools will be finalized based on the feedback after the pilot
