Job Title: Part-time Graphic Designer

Job or Opportunity Description:
We are seeking a creative and driven design student to support the development of our art and design studio. This position offers hands-on experience in website development, branding, and market research, blending artistic vision with practical business strategy.

key responsibilities

  • Maintaining and updating the website, ensuring a visually compelling, user-friendly website for the gallery

  • Willingness to learn basic accounting skills

  • Skills in photography and visual composition are an asset

  • Create engaging content for various digital channels and social media platforms

  • Applying digital assets including logos, banners, and portfolio displays and adhering to the branding guidelines alongside develop mockups and visual prototypes

  • Research the competitive landscape of art galleries and online art platforms and analyzing market trends, pricing, customer demographics, and digital presence

  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for promotional campaigns, social media presence, and exhibition themes

  • Contact and connect with local art galleries in an effort to create opportunities for collaboration or exhibition

qualifications

  • Proficient website building (WIX + Shopify preferred)

  • Self-starter with excellent time management and collaboration skills

  • Proficient knowledge in Google interface: Google Sheets, Google Docs etc.
