Job Title: Part-time Graphic Designer

Job or Opportunity Description: Acrylic Robotics is a dynamic art-tech start-up based in Montreal Quebec, working to revolutionize the art production process and facilitate the creation and ownership of art. To do this, we have developed the tool that will allow artists to create an extensive collection of paintings from a single, brilliant idea: we’ve taught a robot how to paint. We employ a diverse group of student engineers, artists, and business minds who want to be immersed in the front lines of the fusion of technology and creativity. We are looking for a part-time graphic designer to join the team as we look to upscale our marketing capabilities.

Responsibilities:

- Create compelling visual materials, including but not limited to: digital graphics, illustrations, social media content, and more.

- Create and organize cohesive physical promotional materials, potentially in bulk.

- Design and iterate on user-friendly content on web platforms.

- Produce engaging presentations, infographics, and other materials for internal and external use.

- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to develop design solutions for the furtherance of business development.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in, or in possession of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative and technical skills.

- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and solve problems independently.

- Strong written and oral communication, ability to work with and communicate across a diverse, ever-evolving team.

- Ability to be adaptable, and tackle multiple, potentially unrelated projects at once.

- Demonstrated proficiency in creative problem-solving. Additional consideration will be given to candidates who:

- Have experience with web design.

- Have experience in a fast-paced start-up environment.

- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.

- Have additional skills in fine art or business-related fields.
